| Ask the Carey Brothers: Cleaning vinyl siding
Q. I have a small, portable one-room air conditioner that I've used for several years. Now, some of the grease has leaked from the rear of the unit onto the vinyl siding of my house. How do I clean it off? A. Always try soap and water first or the cleaner that is recommended. Having said that, and because the grease you're describing is probably a petrochemical based material (not silicone), it can probably best be cleaned using something like gasoline or acetone. First, make sure there are no flames or sparks nearby, and turn off and disconnect any nearby appliances that could spark while you're working. No smoking during this project. Then, simply put a very small amount of gasoline onto the rag and wipe. The stain will disappear. .

Torri's Tipplers and DDD's.
Just thought we should throw out a few tentative dates for the Challenge next year. As we are a bit spread out over the map, this may take some sorting. I am open for the end of June or thereabouts. Anyone else? Aside to Randie: Will we take the same Air Canada flight or British Airways or whatever is cheapest, or should we be like the Royal Family and travel separately? In case one of us crashes, the other will still be available? .
Tories demand Salmond quit as MP
However, the First Minister later announced he would be donating the one-third of his Holyrood salary to which he is entitled as a so-called "dual mandate" politician to a special trust fund to help community projects in the north-east of Scotland. It means that when his First Minister's salary of £76,907 a year is added to his £60,277 Westminster wage, Mr Salmond's total annual income is £137,184. A spokesman for Mr Salmond yesterday accused the Tories of "scraping the bottom of the barrel" and ignoring the Scottish national interest. "There is a clear advantage to Scotland in having a First Minister who can make key interventions at Westminster on Scotland's behalf," the spokesman said. "For example, on the UK Government's legislative programme or, for that matter, his exchanges with the Prime Minister on co-operating against terrorism." He added: "There is much more to being an MP than trooping the lobbies at Westminster, as is shown in the latest available league table for MPs' participation.
Mike Chappell: Colts Q&A Archives
It might be a shock to their systems if they are asked to sit and watch a game when the temperature is 45-50 degrees. Question: I just cant get psyched for this upcoming game at New England. The Patriots are so injury riddled that they dont even resemble the old Patriots. Its not a Colts/Patriots game. Its a Colts/Patriots replacement game. Dont be fooled by this potential victory in Foxborough. You agree? (L.M. from Indianapolis) Answer: No, I dont. The Patriots might not be at 100 percent, but theyre still the Patriots. Theyre still a quality team that will be playing at home on Monday Night Football. Theyve still got Tom Brady and all of those receivers and Corey Dillon still can be productive. The defense always finds a way to get the job done. Remember the playoff game last season when New England had so many defensive backs out? The replacements came in and played well.
